CE MARKING

(DECLARATION OF PERFORMANCE)

From July 1 2013 legislation dictates that sealed unit manufacturers, toughened glass processors and window and door fabricators will need to CE mark their products and prove their compliance to all relevant legislation.

BS EN 1279 -2/3

(MOISTURE PENETRATION AND GAS LEAKING/CONCENTRATION TOLERANCES)

Glass Systems Insulating Glass Units (IGUs) fully satisfy the requirements laid out in BS EN 1279-2/3. This means that our IGU’s have passed tests for moisture penetration, gas leakage and concentration tolerance. Acquiring this certificate enables us to offer fabricators and installers an IGU that will last for a long period of time without the need for replacement, due to clouding of the unit through leaked gas or internal condensation.

BSI ISO 9001

(QUALITY MANAGEMENT)

Glass Systems has implemented a quality management system to help us effectively manage and organise our business in order to fully meet our customer’s requirements. This system ensures our entire production and manufacture process is carried out to the highest standard, meaning you only get the best quality products and services we can offer.

BS EN 12150-1: 2000

(CHARACTERISTICS OF MONOLITHIC FLAT THERMALLY TOUGHENED SODA LIME SILICATE SAFETY GLASS)

Glass Systems Insulating Glass Units (IGUs) fully satisfy the requirements laid out in BS EN 12150-1:2000. This means that our IGU’s have passed tests for tolerances, flatness, edgework, fragmentation, and physical and mechanical characteristics. Acquiring this certificate enables us to offer fabricators and installers an IGU that is safe for use in buildings and will not lose its mechanical or thermal characteristics.
